Dave is TechActif’s founder and principal consultant. As a skilled leader and communicator, he brings over twenty-five years of experience advising executive teams in the boardroom, and project teams in the scrum. He specializes in helping clients who are looking for innovative and game-changing ways to engage their customers, employees, and partners.
Dave's background includes eleven years as the Director of Information Systems at Queen’s University. There he led a team of 24+ business and software professionals providing software design, business process management and collaboration services to the Queen's community of 20,000 students, 3,000 staff, and 1,300 faculty and researchers. He successfully guided the technical team in a $35 million project to implement PeopleSoft Finance, HR, Research, and Student Administration applications.
After having used a number of customer and association relationship management systems over the years, Dave was introduced to Salesforce in 2008. He was immediately drawn to its vast potential and the opportunities it presented for businesses. Since then, he has become a certified Salesforce Administrator. Combined with being an Agile Scrum Master, he is able to work with clients end-to-end through Salesforce implementations and custom software solutions on the Force.com platform. Dave now has broad experience across financial services, technology companies, media industry, and higher education. He has implemented numerous sales and service Clouds, portals and intranets, and community projects.
